Her first innocent brushes with her love leave her heart-broken. At a tender age she becomes convinced that she will hardly find true love.
Her search for truth begins the moment she got selected in a management college. She was preparing herself to face a new challenge in the new environment.
D first day of induction & orientation in her college made her familiar to the college & its environment. She made new friends very quickly & sooner she became an attention seeker in her friend circle & among the faculty. Soon she melted many hearts by her gentle & lively nature.
She was going on a higher phase of her life. Then 1 day she met a handsome chap of her college, named Sam, who brought a fragrance to her life with blossoms of love & gentle smile. Sooner they became perfect couple in their campus. They started dating & had fun in freaking out with their friends. Everything was going on smooth pace. And the intimacy among them was getting deeper with the moving time. Now a time came when the course was about to complete & every 1 in the batch has to leave the gate seeking with their professional life.
Their friends got placed in different sectors. And the couple got a job in their desired company.
As per their commitments to 1 another, the time came when they have to tell about their relation to their respective family. They told their parents about their relation & luckily both the parents accepted their proposal happily & left the decision on them of when they want to get married. Gradually they were moving well in their love life & career path as well.
Later, Sam got transferred to another city away from Pearl. He was offered an international project for which he was sent away from his country & went far away from his love & family.
Both hearts wept on a long distance relationship. But they prepared themselves practically & strongly enough hoping to have a fruitful future ahead.
Days passed by when they were in regular touch with each other. Their workload gets burdened on their desk.
Gradually, the communication gaps came between the couple. But they had made commitments in their hearts & being loyal to 1 another they pursued their relevant jobs.
Slowly, the period went & 1 year blew in a busy manner. Both hearts got so busy in their proficient life that they hardly got time to stay connected.
One day, Sam informed his parents & his wanna be parents in laws about his returning back & giving surprise to his beloved sweetheart.
Both the families were very happy & elated on his return. He decided to pursue a beautiful happily married life with Pearl.
14th February, a day of love was decided by him to propose his love to get bonded with her forever.
Meantime Pearl's job demanded her tour to a rural place for a week. Unaware of the news of Sam's returning back she went on a tour with one of her colleague. She spent time in the villages conducting a survey with the farmers & lower segment people collecting some information related to the local moneylenders. She was getting success in the task assigned to her. She informed her family about the successful tour & her returning back to home. Sam waited impatiently, doing arrangements for her surprise.
12th February, a day came when Pearl was to get back to the pavilion & Sam awaited excitedly. Pearl took long hours to get back, 12th almost passed away but she didn't get back. No news came from her side & everybody got tensed. A strange feeling was covering everybody's heartbeats making the environment more tensed.
On 13th they got a call from the Pearl's company & the call made Sam to pack his bags & making uncertain promises to everybody he left for the village. A moment he entered the village a weird feeling came in his heart a feeling that made him feel pessimistic. After making an inquiry with the help of his beloved's photograph he went to the hotel where Pearl stayed for almost 5 days. The moment he asked for Pearl with the receptionist a strange expression of fear covered the face of the receptionist & he lied he don't know anything. Sam got a clue something wrong has happened. He went to the room boarded by Pearl. Later, a stranger came & took him to a local government hospital where he was shocked to see the critical condition of her love.
A doctor came & took him to his cabin & explained the case. He was shocked to know that her love victimized the gang rape.
He was speechless & in a same mode went to her bed unbelieving the truth, fighting within his soul he went nearer to his love. Refusing to accept the reality he just saw an innocent face of his Pearl. Slowly, she opened her eyes & saw her love standing besides her, she without giving any expressions hid herself & was unable to face him. Suppressing a weird feeling inside his heart, Sam played a role of a responsible human & took care of her.
Gradually, Pearl recovered & got discharged from the hospital but the soul within her was seeking the truth, a crystal clear heart saw a lost love in her lover's eyes. They kept silent for long hours in their meetings. Both hearts could feel the distance created in between them. Being together created both the hearts burdened. And a day came when Pearl asked her love to move on & carry on his life in his own way. Sam was not shocked to hear that, because somewhere inside him he was demanding the same thing. Both accepted their departure & moved on in their respective lives. Though, it was hard but some how a "MANAGER DEGREE HOLDERS" did manage to move away.
Hard time flew away; Pearl started accepting the dark core truth of her life, fighting within herself. Confronting her own demons, doing exactly the opposite of what she promised herself she would do.
With the passing time Sam got settled in his career life & got married to a girl of his parents choice. By the time Pearl recovered from her grief, engaged herself in a social work in an orphanage & passed her time seeing the cute smiles on the faces of children made her smile too that she lost far away.
