Often wives are titled as 'Complaint Box'. There are plenty jokes on hub-wife; in which most of the time the hilarious targets are "Wife". Because as they say after marriage Hus-Band ka toh BAND bajj jaata hai.. It's like a ritual, 'Bhai yaar tu toh gaya..'; 'Abhi bhi time hai..soch le be' or thanks to Bollywood too there are few supportive songs like 'Ek kuwara fir gaya maara', etc & etc..Such jokes are good for few laughs, but nowadays with the change in time they carry a monotonous feel with them.
In our typical society the ideal role of a wife carry lot of duties which CANNOT be treated "casual" by her; because if one day this homo-maker gets lazy to wake up, late or is not in a mood to cook, that won't please her dear family & in reverse that'll lead a stressful moment to the women department thus, unknowingly inviting the hormonal fluctuations in her body. If you consider 'Aaj ki Naari as a Millennium Woman- Super Woman' then what is 'Aaj ka Nar' to the society- The same old 'Lazy Lad- Bechara.' So here is ONE of the reason why your better half, achanak se become a "Complaint Box" as she only needs & expect, little helping hand from you in household chores with love. After all- 'Many hands make the 'tasks' light'.
Although, there are few hubbies who are out of count, they understand & be generous to provide an add on helping hand, without 'irritation', when asked. I am blessed with one.
I don't nag him for anything. I also ensure to manage things on my own, to my best without bugging him. So he enjoys his "pressure filled" work life & during weekends he get to enjoy his 'Own time' by either studying for the ongoing office assignment or watching any 'GOT' episodes or any other series.
I don't know about others but at least at our home there are only 2 BOXES- An Idiot Box (TV) & The Lunch Box (taste of care)..
